Wavigo users can monitor, chat and talk with other Wavigo users, and also with all of their contacts on any of voice and Instant Messaging services such as Skype, Yahoo!, MSN, AOL and ICQ.  Enhanced functionality allows users to transparently conference across them, while talking with your friends, and downloading and listening to your podcasts simultaneously. 

All of this functionality is included in Wavigo's free basic services. 


Wavigo P2P Technology Overview:

Wavigo's peer to peer technology is specifically designed to enable communications between you and your contacts.

With other P2P technology your computer resources and internet connection may be used by other users as well as you.  Your computer may be used for transferring someone else's files or communications, and, your communications may be relayed through other user's computers on the internet. Even when you are not logged on, your computer and internet connection may be used by others. This leaves your computer with less memory, CPU and bandwidth which means that your computer will run much slower.  
 

Wavigo use the servers to login, then you're on your own, so to speak.  Wavigo voice communications are fully P2P.  The communications path goes directly through the internet from your computer to the computer of the party you are calling.
